The 2010 Ford Ranger, which can be found at Pennsylvania Ford Dealership, comes with two engine choices.  One is a 2.3 liter 143 horsepower I4, and then there is the top of the line 4.0 liter 207 horsepower V6.  Both come standard with a five speed manual overdrive transmission but a five speed automatic with overdrive is an option.

Ford has equipped the Ranger with a three year or 36,000 mile basic warranty and a five year or 60,000 mile drivetrain, rust and roadside assistance.  The Ranger from Used Car Dealer Austin, received five stars for driver protection in front crash tests and three stars on rollover ratings.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Ranger it’s second highest ranking of “Acceptable” in frontal offset tests.  The Ranger comes standard with a  Roll Stability Control System, which helps prevent rollovers.  If the Ranger senses a rollover, it has a four channel anti-lock braking system to brake individual wheels and can cut the engine throttle to try and bring the vehicle back into upright position.  Side chest airbags are also standard.

Now the 2010 Chevrolet Colorado, which can be purchased at Wellington Chevrolet Dealers, comes with numerous engine options.  First there is the base engine which is a 2.9 liter four cylinder that creates 185 horsepower and 190 pound feet of torque.  Then there is a 3.7 liter five cylinder that creates 242 horsepower and 242 pound feet of torque.  And last but not least is the top of the line V8 that creates 300 horsepower and 320 pound feet of torque.  A four speed automatic transmission is standard with the V8 and the five cylinder, while the four cylinder gets a five speed manual transmission.

Chevy has also equipped the Colorado with a very basic protection package.  It includes; three years or 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a five year or 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.  The Colorado also did very well on crash tests.  It received five stars for driver and front passenger protection in frontal crash tests, three stars for driver protection in side crash tests and five stars for rear passenger protection.  This vehicle also comes standard with front and side airbags, four wheel anti-lock brakes with disc’s in front and drums in the rear along with stability and traction control.
